In-Product Marketing Acquisition Page

COMPANY:

Intuit

PRODUCT:

QuickBooks Payroll

ROLE:

Lead Visual Designer

I created prototypes, assisted in user testing, strategized, iterated on designs and presented to marketing leaders.

PROBLEM:

The In Product Discovery (IPD) page within the QuickBooks product shell needed a revamp to better engage users who hadn’t yet purchased Payroll. The challenge was to craft dynamic content for two distinct audiences—small business owners and mid-market companies—helping each to clearly see the value of an ecosystem of products offered within a single platform.

GOAL:

To create two dynamic versions of the page based on user research findings. Small businesses prioritized upfront discounts, while mid-sized businesses focused on comparing products and benefits. We adjusted content order and above-the-fold elements to cater to the unique needs and purchase drivers of each audience segment.

OUTCOME:

A streamlined user experience that provides each user segment with the right information to confidently make a purchase decision.

I like the layout of site and [it] is very user friendly. A lot of info but not too busy. Simple, clean, crisp.

QuickBooks Time Rebrand & Redesign

COMPANY:

Intuit

PRODUCT:

TSheets by QuickBooks

QuickBooks Time

ROLE:

Lead Visual & Brand Designer

In addition to fully redesigning the top 20 pages, I was in the core working team with web marketers, making decisions on navigation, page migration, designing wireframes and templates, and assisting page authors.

PROBLEM:

TSheets underwent significant changes over 7 years, including being acquired by Intuit, rebranded twice, and integrated into the QuickBooks brand and design system. This transformation required aligning a standalone product with QuickBooks' ecosystem to create brand trust and recognition.

GOAL:

To redesign over 200 pages, focusing on migrating the top 20 into an existing CMS while refining the site architecture. This involved collaborating with web marketers, SEO experts, CMS authors, and developers to create new templates, streamline key pages, and manage redirects to ensure a seamless user experience.

OUTCOME:

The redesign successfully aligned TSheets with the QuickBooks brand and created a cohesive user experience across web. Working closely with cross-functional teams led to optimized templates and a more scalable site architecture that supports future growth, all while preserving the full SEO value of the site.
